To the sweetest, humblest, loveliest, gentlest, most peaceful, virtuous woman I have ever known.
ReplyDeleteThe missing rib of my father, the perfect wife to a husband. I miss you. God will give me strength for each new day. I will not mourn as those who have no hope for I know that you have joined dad to wait for us in heaven.
When my time is done, my race is run and I have kept the faith, we will be reunited in the kingdom of heaven through Jesus Christ our saviour, Amen.
Thank you Aunty Riri
DeleteI am thankful for every hug, every shared laugh, every encouragement, every prayer. Blessed to have known such a remarkable woman. Grandma led by example, with grace and strength and faith in God for everything. I will miss her. Rest well Grandma.
DeleteBless your hear Aunty Bu..Thank you
DeleteGrandma was a kind woman who always knew when to step in or to provide for us. She spoilt us with some snacks that she saved and was a woman who knew what to do and when to do it From Michael
ReplyDeleteLots of Love Mikey
DeleteTo me, she was not just my mother’s sister, she was like my mother, like my grandmother if you will; a woman whose love was as natural as the air we breathe.
ReplyDeleteThere is a specific kind of warmth that only she possessed. It was in the way she listened, the way she offered counsel without judgment, how calming her presence was, and the way her home always felt like a refuge.
There was no time where she never asked, “iri go?”—meaning have you eaten?
To my dear, dear Aunt: Thank you for mothering me with such grace and love. You taught me that strength isn't found in a loud voice, but in a kind heart and a resilient spirit.
We aren't just mourning a loss; we are celebrating a life that was a gift from God to everyone. You have left an imprint on my soul that time cannot fade.
Rest well, for you have loved us more than well. You are forever in our hearts and our spirits. We love you till we meet again.
*A Tribute to the Most Gentle Soul*
ReplyDeleteAwii mamaaa…Or more recently, Flower-Ken (meaning Kenneth’s flower) … As she would fondly call me. These names forever live rent-free in my mind.
We often talk about "mothers" as a title defined by birth, but today we honor a woman who proved that motherhood is, above all else, a choice of the heart.
To me, she was not just my mother’s sister, she was like my mother, like my grandmother if you will; a woman whose love was as natural as the air we breathe.
She loved the Lord with a total conviction, with a confidence in her service that was palpable.
Watching her with family was a lesson in devotion. She carried the quiet strength of an elder, guiding with gentleness and love, always watching over her family with a grace that never demanded attention but always provided security.
There is a specific kind of warmth that only she possessed. It was in the way she listened, the way she offered counsel without judgment, how calming her presence was, and the way her home always felt like a refuge.

As we sing these songs for you, we aren't just mourning a loss; we are celebrating a life that was a gift from God to everyone. You have left an imprint on my soul that time cannot fade.
Rest well, for you have loved us more than well. You are forever in our hearts and our spirits. We love you till we meet again.
